Hello, everyone,
while driving on a country road today, at approx. 80km/h, all the warning lights in the right-hand display window of the instrument cluster lit up. So stop for a moment, ignition off, it's still lit. Key removed, it still lights up. So I put the key back in and started it, apparently everything is normal except for the missing displays (speedometer/RPM) in the instrument cluster. Drive continued to the destination and parked the vehicle for 2 hours. The following start was normal for the first few kilometers, then all of a sudden the message "SRS/airbag maintenance urgently" was displayed. At the same time, the speedometer and the number of revolutions were lost.
Then all of a sudden, a few kilometers from my destination, the speedometer and tachometer worked again.
The vehicle was parked with the warning display "SRS/Airbag..." still present.
The only thing that was done to the vehicle last Thursday was the fuel filter was replaced.
There's nothing electrical in that area, is there?
I've searched the forum but haven't found anything specific to my error. I'll contact my workshop tomorrow because of the error memory, but I think they only have a Gutmann device.
Who has an idea for the described error?
Have a nice evening everyone.
Greetings Janos
