Chemical-technical products from PETEC have long gained an excellent reputation in the field of automotive technology, maintenance and care. For vehicle components "under the hood" such as the engine, transmission, cooling and water circuit and everything in between, there is the portfolio of the PETEC additive line. The range of additives and sealants can be used equally for petrol and diesel technology and was expanded at the end of 2021 to include four user-friendly cleaners for well-maintained combustion systems.

The new additions to the PETEC additive line are designed for quick and easy application without any assembly or disassembly effort. These are a petrol system cleaner and a diesel system cleaner, a diesel particulate filter cleaner and an engine oil system cleaner. With these new developments, the range now includes seven products for cleaner, better maintained and more durable combustion technology in a wide range of applications.

Additives with ecological and economic effect

During development work, PETEC pays particular attention to the ecological aspects of its additives. On the one hand, this applies to the product properties themselves, but also to the positive effect on vehicle emissions. Last but not least, the PETEC development emphasizes the cleaned technology and the extended vehicle life with regular use. All four products are liquid and are either added to the fuel tank or used as part of an engine and transmission oil change. The effect achieved by the Additive-line products is expressed in different aspects such as cleaning, dissolving, lubricating, caring for and protecting.

System cleaner for diesel and petrol

The petrol system cleaner and the diesel system cleaner optimize the service life of fuel systems through the above aspects. In addition to protection against wear, corrosion and microorganisms, soot formation is reduced and exhaust gas values ​​are improved.

The reduction of NO2 emissions by the petrol system cleaner has been proven and its effectiveness has been certified by the TÜV. The diesel system cleaner is also suitable for use with modern injection systems such as common rail and pump injectors.

Diesel particle filter: Easy cleaning while driving

PETEC's diesel particulate filter cleaner is just as easy to use as it is effective. Adding the liquid additive takes place without much effort or special knowledge of the fuel tank. The cleaning, lubricating, protective and caring effect occurs while driving.

The manufacturer recommends continuous use of this cleaner in order to effectively reduce soot formation, sustainably improve exhaust gas values ​​and increase service life. If used regularly, the particle filter cleaner should prevent the filter from becoming clogged and thus avoid increased fuel consumption and loss of performance.

First a clean unit, then fresh oil - with engine oil system cleaner

With the engine oil system cleaner, PETEC offers a wide range of users the opportunity to thoroughly clean their oil circuit systems before an oil change. The 300 ml container of liquid cleaner is intended for an oil volume of around 5 liters. The cleaning concentrate is fed to the engine at operating temperature via the oil cap and dissolves dirt and sludge deposits during a 10-minute idle phase. It is then drained off together with the used oil, creating optimal conditions for a clean start with fresh oil and a new filter.

The PETEC engine oil system cleaner is suitable for all petrol and diesel engines as well as for manual and differential gears. This not only applies to car components, but also in trucks, tractors, boats and many other areas of application with oil circuit components. The concentrated cleaner is compatible with all rubber, metal and plastic parts and does not attack engine seals. The cleaner should not be used on slip clutches.
