- Panoramic sunroof no longer closes automatically
Hello, everyone,
the last maintenance (major inspection) incl. greasing of the sunroof was less than 3 months ago.
Well today I opened the roof briefly. It also drives automatically to the 1st opening point. Only then can I no longer close it automatically. It starts up briefly and then immediately reverses again.
Only when I press and hold the switch forward does the roof close and close completely. As far as I can see, nothing is blocking the way and I can only imagine that it might be so stiff that the power limiter kicks in with the automatic.
But that should not really be the case under normal circumstances and especially shortly after maintenance.
Therefore: Are there any empirical values or ideas for something like this, what it could be and whether I can do something?
Otherwise I'll have to go to my VAG partner...
Thanks and best regards

Have you tried learning the sunroof like the windows? (Press the button to open and hold it down for a few seconds after reaching the end stop. Proceed in the same way for closing.) Maybe that will help.
