New signal providers from Bosch: Optical and acoustic alarm with reduced power consumption

(19.3.2021) With Avenar All-in-One 4000, Bosch has presented a new series of signalers that combine optical and acoustic alarm in one device.Optionally, any fire detectors from the Avenar family can also be combined in a device with the signal provider, which significantly reduces the installation and maintenance effort.With protection class IP 42, the signal providers are suitable for almost all applications in buildings and are certified in the categories according to EN54-3 and EN54-23

Up to 125 devices on a ring bus

Bosch shows a low power consumption of 865 µA for the Avenar All-in-One 4000, so that up to 125 devices can be installed per ring bus.Instead, there can be no extensive and comparatively expensive e-30 cabling to ensure the functional preservation.An integrated battery with a lifespan of up to 10 years ensures an interruption -free alarm, even if the bus fails.

Usability in focus

When developing the signal giver, Bosch -special value has placed a simple installation and handling as well as on flexible possible uses.In this way, the signal providers can be pre -assembled and plug -in terminals - instead of screw terminals - simplify the installation significantly.Furthermore, you can choose between three intensities for different areas of application both in the optical and acoustic alarm.Optionally, any fire detectors from the Avenar family can be combined with the signal provider.As a result, fire detectors can be replaced separately if necessary, even without exchanging the signal giver, which saves operating and maintenance costs.

Many possible uses

By combining optical and acoustic alarm, Avenar All-in-One 4000 is particularly suitable for use in office buildings and in buildings with a lot of public transport.Especially in such environments, the new alarm providers play out their strength, since the double alarm with optical and acoustic signal enables the warning of all people - including older people or people with handicap -.Due to the high protection class IP 42, demanding production environments can also be secured with it.

Avenar all-in-one 4000 is available in four versions-these are combinations of a red or white housing with a red or white LED flash light for optical alarm.Battery and detectors are coordinated in terms of lifespan, so that in addition to the regular detective exchange.The new devices are integrated into Bosch's “Safety Systems Designer”, a tool for easy planning of fire registration systems.
