After the EQA, EQC and EQV, Mercedes-Benz is now also offering its EQS electric luxury sedan as a subscription. In the case of the electric luxury sedan, the subscription is not cheap. With the models offered so far, the flexible subscription offer is well received.
As announced by Mercedes, the EQS can be subscribed to at all participating Mercedes-Benz Rent partners in the comfort rate for 2,699 euros per month or in the premium rate for 2,999 euros. A one-off entry fee of 400 euros will be charged at the beginning of the subscription. Configurations that are more expensive are not offered in the subscription. In practice, the EQS subscription should therefore be limited to the two rear-wheel drive variants EQS 350 and EQS 450+, which are available without special equipment from 97,806.10 euros or 107,326.10 euros BLP. The EQS 580 4Matic already costs 135,529.10 euros without equipment, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ is already well over the 138,000 euros limit ex works.
For comparison: With the EQA 250, the subscription rate is 749 euros, with the electric van EQV, for example, the monthly rate is 899 euros. In both cases, an entry fee of 400 euros is also due. In the case of the EQV, the subscription rate applies up to gross list prices of EUR 90,000.
The subscription rate includes maintenance, warranty repairs, one set each of summer and winter tires, fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible of 1,500 euros and free use of Mercedes me Charge. In addition, the use of Ionity Unlimited is included for one year.

A mileage of 10,000 kilometers per year is included, multi-kilometer packages are possible for an additional charge.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the subscription offer is aimed in particular at customers who want an uncomplicated and flexible entry into electromobility without making a long-term commitment. "Already a third of our customers in Germany decide to subscribe to an electric vehicle," says Benedikt Schell, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Bank. "The high demand for our EQ subscriptions proves us right: Flexible subscription models are in demand, especially for electromobility. We are therefore consistently expanding our previous offer and are now also offering the EQS in a transparent all-inclusive rate.”mercedes-benz.com
