Maintenance in summer saves heating costs in winter

The old heating is being re -adjusted for hydraulic comparison - and this can save a lot of heating costs next winter.The Institute for Warmth and Oelt Technology advises you to do this in summer.

In the comparison, a sanitary specialist determines the required heat output for every living space.Based on this, it sets the necessary amount of water in the heating system and the optimal flow temperature.It also calculates the pump output and the necessary resistances in the heating circuit.

Water volume in the system must be correct

This ensures, for example, that the circulation pump to the radiators and back always flows exactly the required amount of water.Because if too much or too little water flows, not all rooms in the house are evenly warm.The result is that colder radiators are turned more on.And that causes unnecessary costs.

Information on whether a heater does not run completely clean can feel and hear: rooms do not get warm, or some radiators in the house remain cooler with the same thermostat setting than others.Or they warm up later.Glucking noises are also a sign of problems.

Promotion possible

Hydraulic comparison also makes sense if energetic conversions have been carried out on the house.Because by means of a facade insulation or the installation of new windows, the heat requirement of the building can change.
