Aken and Co: Who pays for the maintenance of the important ferries?

Hundreds of thousands of euros are at stake for the operators: A new law could bring full funding for the revision costs of the "nationally important ferries". The Akener ferry would also be affected.

Aken/Dessau-Roßlau/MZ - It's that time again: The Aken ferry is dry. Not because the Elbe would no longer carry water; instead, the almost 35 meter long river ship is in the Roßlau shipyard for maintenance and inspection.
