My greatest fashion achievement this one year so far I've been able to marvel at the outfits of Emily in "Emily in Paris" and Carrie in "Just like that..." and wish I was fit enough to dress appropriately again. For most of the past two weeks, it's been a wish. Sweatpants, leggings and lots of handkerchiefs for my cold, that's what my daily outfit looked like.

But now, almost 14 days into the new year, I'm finally reasonably healthy again and so fit that I don't lie on the sofa completely freaked out after a walk with the dogs. This has to be celebrated – with a nice outfit.

And so I dressed nicely for the first time yesterday. Because it's actually like this: As comfortable as the jogging pants are, after more than three days in them I feel terrible. Dressing up nicely, thinking about your own outfit and sitting nicely dressed even when working from home helps me to feel good. The only thing missing is my sports routine, but I only let that back into my life when everything is really cured.

Why did I choose shorts for winter? 1. It's terribly comfortable, super warm and makes lounging on the sofa easier. And 2. While I was ill, I indulged my secret passion "Shopping Queen". For me the perfect sprinkling to relax and recover. In an episode in Munich, the topic was "Style your new shorts" - and whoops di whoops I suddenly felt like living out my great love for shorts in winter too. It works pretty well, doesn't it?

The start of the new year was bumpier than I would have liked. And so I hope that the year will slowly pick up its pace positively and with a lot of joy and that it will pull me along. Really little happened, my highlights were the walks with Pepe and reading many books. Now I hope that my booster vaccination won't knock me out of my shoes again next week and that I'll finally be healthy and better protected again and at least be able to enjoy longer walks and a cup of tea in the fresh air. fingers crossed My plans for the coming weeks: I finally want to clean out the apartment, unfortunately that didn't happen during the holidays. I want to go on a few trips, hopefully enjoy the snow again and finally spend time with friends again.
