Mirco Nontschew's death: the police confirm the first details

It was news that shocked many Germans: the popular comedian Mirco Nontschew was suddenly reported as deceased yesterday. He was only 52 years old. Now the first details about finding the deceased have become known.

Because nobody opened the door, the police had the fire department open the door of the apartment around 4 p.m. and finally found the body of the 52-year-old. According to "Bild am Sonntag", concerned relatives are said to have made the emergency call. They had not reached Nonchev for several days.

Cause of death still unknown

There is still no confirmed information on the cause of death. The cause is to be clarified in a death investigation, a police spokeswoman confirmed, and an autopsy had also been ordered.
