Jeff Bezos: New Year's Eve outfit makes you laugh – "You can't buy taste"

Most people dress up for the turn of the year. So does Jeff Bezos. He wore an outfit on New Year's Eve that Twitter users are now amused about.

"You can be the richest man in the world, but some things you can't buy, like taste," one Twitter user wrote, referring to Jeff Bezos' latest Instagram post.

In it, the Amazon founder wears skinny white jeans, a patterned shirt that he has unbuttoned to the navel, and heart-shaped sunglasses on his face. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez wears a glittery jumpsuit in the snap.

Some people don't recognize the multi-billionaire in the outfit. "What actually happened to Jeff Bezos?" Someone asks on Twitter, for example. "Jeff Bezos is apparently going through the Prince Marcus transformation," writes another. Also to read: "Why does he look like he owns five Edekas in the Ruhr area and a snack bar on Malle?" Others suspect a "Bad Taste" party behind it.

"A crazy disco party"

And indeed: Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend celebrated a New Year's Eve party in the Caribbean under the motto "disco". "We had so much fun celebrating with a crazy disco party with the family last night," he wrote of the series of photos, which also feature the other guests in 80s outfits. The new year is a great opportunity "to take stock" and focus on things like personal growth.

Jeff Bezos has been in a relationship with Lauren Sanchez since 2018. The two met when he was married to his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott. After 26 years, the two then announced their marriage. In the summer of 2019, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez made their love public.
