With KIOX, Felix Kummer pretty much knocked our socks off in 2019. At that time there should be a break from the band context and time for your own project. What Felix did more than successfully. The hype surrounding the Chemnitz musician was quickly there, and the concerts sold out in droves. Teens sang along loudly to songs like "How much is your outfit worth?" from Day 1. For Kummer, KIOX will be a new way of expressing himself, detached from Kraftklub. Own songs with depth paired with well-known sounds that bear a certain resemblance to his band.

After several corona-related postponements of the solo tour, it was announced a few days ago that it can really take place this year. In what feels like the same breath, Kummer publishes a video on Instagram in which he announces the end of Kummer. "I knew from the start that grief would eventually be over. That moment has come now."

But there should be one last song. This bears the apt name “The Last Song”. On November 12, the time has come and this short era will be over. Will there be a return to Kraftklub? Maybe we'll find out at some point.
