There are also two concert notes for Sunday and Monday:

1.) On Sunday, February 13th, 2022, the trio Triosence will be performing at 8 p.m. in the Jazzhaus Freiburg and presenting the new CD entitled "Giulia", which was released by the Sony Music label (19439934262). Whether in this country or anywhere else in the world - wherever the three musicians from triosence perform, they fascinate and inspire their audience. "The new milestone in jazz trio", "A highlight that gets under your skin!" and "Example for a musical trinity" are just a few of the press reviews that celebrate the trio on an international level - and since their founding in 1999, triosence can be proud of an impressive Collection of trophies - her portfolio ranges from 1st prize at Jugend jazzt, various culture and composition prizes to the best new entry in the international jazz charts in Germany. From the beginning, the three musicians went their own way, both musically and in terms of their careers - they let themselves be guided by their intuition and have always remained true to their ideals. The trio consists of: Bernhard Schüler piano, Omar Rodriguez Calvo bass and Tobias Schulte drums and percussion.

2.) Monday, February 14th, 2022, at 8 p.m. at the Jazzkongress im Schützen in Freiburg, the duo Johannes Mössinger piano and Jochen Schorer marimba & vibraphone up. Johannes Mössinger, who moves in the field of jazz, and Jochen Schorer, who, as the drummer of the SWR Symphony Orchestra, deals with classical or contemporary music, understand perfectly how to present themselves as an absolutely seamless unit. This not only applies to their stupendous technical use on the grand piano or vibraphone and marimbaphone, but also to the rhythmic or dynamic design of the individual pieces, which always has the character of an energetic symbiosis.

I can warmly recommend both concerts!
