(3743)Unknown persons forcibly opened the tank caps on two excavators parked outdoors belonging to a construction company and stole a total of around 130 liters of diesel fuel. An attempt was made to drill open the lock to the driver's cab on a wheel loader also located on the WeißenWeg site. There was property damage of an unknown amount. (GT)

(3744) An 18-year-old drove her Kawasaki moped down Bernsdorfer Strasse with the intention of turning left into Rosenplatz. She did not drive in a wide arc and collided with a 22-year-old cyclist who was turning right from Rosenplatz onto Bernsdorfer Straße. The cyclist was seriously injured in the fall and the motorcyclist was slightly injured. (GT)

(3745) Burglars were out and about on Draisdorfer Strasse during the night. They broke open the door of the sales office of a used car dealership and stole the registration certificates for unauthorized Opel and Volkswagen vehicles for sale from the office cupboards.(GT)

Time: October 21, 2021, 6:15 p.m. to October 22, 2021, 7:00 a.m. Place: OT Schloßchemnitz

(3746) An office building on Leipziger Strasse was visited by burglars during the night. Unknown persons pried open the office doors of a naturopathic practice and a law firm, causing damage to property amounting to 1,000 euros. Two cash boxes with around 60 euros in cash were stolen from the premises of the law firm. (GT)

Time: October 21, 2021, 5:00 p.m. to October 22, 2021, 6:00 p.m. Location: Döbeln

(3747)Unknown perpetrators pried open the door to a resident's living space in a supervised shared flat in the street Am Holländer and caused damage to property amounting to 50 euros. They stole a safe with cash, a watch and an iPhone with a total value of around 2,000 euros from the room. (GT)

Time: October 22, 2021, 12:50 p.m. Place: Claußnitz

(3748) On Friday afternoon, the 57-year-old driver of an Audi car wanted to pull out of a property onto the main road. She overlooked a truck coming on the road. There was a collision. The Audi driver and the 59-year-old driver of the truck were uninjured. The person who caused the accident smelled of alcohol. An on-site test resulted in a value of 2.66 per mille. A blood sample was taken at the hospital. Local police withheld the woman's driver's license. The total property damage amounts to 3,500 euros. A report of endangering road traffic was made by the police. (Rough)

(3749)Unknown perpetrators broke into a VW Polo car that had been parked properly on the Straße des Friedens and stole a small amount of cash and a cross helmet worth around 400 euros. There was no material damage to the vehicle. (GT)

Six injured in a serious traffic accident

Time: October 22, 2021, 6:30 p.m. Location: S 207 / Dörnthal

(3750) The 49-year-old driver of a Toyota car with a trailer was driving on the S 207 from Obersaida in the direction of Sayda on Friday afternoon. In a left turn, the 72-year-old driver of the Skoda car came towards him. In the curve area, the cause of the collision between the two vehicles has not yet been clarified. The trailer of the Toyota was torn off and thrown into an adjacent field. The Toyota car lurched over the right shoulder, then onto the oncoming lane, tipped over on the right side of the vehicle and came to rest across the lane. The Skoda spun into the oncoming lane and came to a stop in the opposite direction of travel. The Toyota driver and his 16-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. A 79-year-old occupant, the 80-year-old passenger and the driver of the Skoda car were also slightly injured in the accident, another 76-year-old occupant of the Skoda was seriously injured. All of the injured were taken to the hospital. The total damage amounts to approx. 40,000 euros. The S 207 was temporarily completely blocked. The investigations are still ongoing. (Rough)

Serious accident due to violation of the right of way

Time: October 22nd, 2021, 3:00 p.m. Location: Zwönitz

(3751) On Friday afternoon, the 62-year-old driver of a Multicar truck drove in the direction of Hartensteiner Straße / S 283 with the intention of turning right onto it. He disregarded the Honda car of a 63-year-old, who was driving from the left on the priority road. There was an accident between the two vehicles. As a result, the Multicar turned about 180 degrees and tipped over onto the left side of the vehicle. The multicar driver was seriously injured and the Honda passenger slightly injured. Property damage of an unknown amount was caused to both vehicles. The police are investigating. (Rough)
