One should be skeptical about the limit values set by the authorities. If the limit values can no longer be observed, they are "adjusted" according to the industrial specifications. And all of a sudden, what used to be toxic to humans is still acceptable. The toothpaste will be no different. Also, I took a look at the doses. I found something about this online last year. A pea-sized amount a day is enough to get to the limit of toxicity. (Maybe it's different now. For example, if the limit was raised again.) And then you don't just take fluoride once a day, but twice a day with toothpaste. Salt is often also included. Day care children brush their teeth 3 times a day. Since the absorption takes place via the oral mucosa, the amount is also very large. That would not be the case with normal skin. In my opinion, the limit values are far exceeded every day if you follow the dentist's recommendation. But it is also certain, and studies have shown that, that fluoride hardens the enamel and thus makes it less sensitive. In this respect, everyone must know for themselves whether they are taking fluoride or not. We've reduced it drastically.
